Mark & Jill Burd
Mark served as Co-Pastor of the Heavy Metal Church of Christ in Greenville, OH and in the early Spring of 2016, he attended a Ministerial meeting where several Time to Revive team members shared the vision of the ministry and introduced the first concept of reviveOHIO. Mark came home from that meeting and said to his wife, Jill: THIS is what I’ve been praying about for a long, long time! She knew at that moment they would be involved with this ministry in one way or another. Mark helped lead the prayer, planning and preparation for revival in their community, and reviveOHIO kicked off a few months later in Darke County! Mark and Jill were “in” from the very beginning! Their entire family jumped in as well, and as a result, they now love to share the Gospel and make disciples of Jesus, and fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). The Burd’s lives were truly changed forever! Mark was asked by Time to Revive to be the Chairman for reviveOHIO as invitations continued to come in from other communities across the state, and he continues to lead reviveOHIO still today!
Mark and Jill live in Anna, OH and have 5 children: Daniel, Ethan, Alex, Lily and Addison. Daniel met Christina (Harting) on a mission trip to Grenada, and in 2019 they were married. In 2021 they had a son (Silas), who is the first Burd grandchild! For 30+ years Mark was a very successful industrial supply salesman and won several awards. He also loves music and served as a worship leader for many of those years. He sings and plays guitar, bass and drums. Mark also enjoyed playing sports and coaching his kids and their peers. Jill is still a part-time nurse (RN), and the president of the nurse’s union at her hospital. “Together they are great leaders of reviveOHIO” their team has shared over and over!
